Hi

I've had to face 3, yes 3 assessments "checking I'm on the correct level of benefit"
The letters you get are fierce
And you have to lay your life bare

My husband works so we don't get means tested money
Just dla and what was incapacity that now is ESA

I've now been summonsed again to see the department that deals with fraudulent claims lodged at the job centre lto check I'm on the right level of benefit not that I am claiming any means tested benefit at all.

This is all in the last 4 months.
It's all at once.
My guess is as our surname starts with B and that I'm working age we are top of the governments hit list.
I hate the way they make you feel terrible for being ill and disabled, I'd love to work but with severe ra ehich is totally uncontrolled, just about to have second knee replacement this is just awful.

I feel really got at
I cannot for the life of me see how this beats fraud.
If you are going to lie
And cheat
Then you're going to lie and cheat
You won't care if some beaurocrat asks you more questions, you'll just lie again surely.

Is anyone else feeling "got at"?
Perhaps it's because it's personally at me ?
how to be a velvet bulldoser
Jane.

Sad Jenni don't feel harassed, they want to see you and your new bling wheels!
I just want to cheer you up Tongue

Maybe you should do a "cv of job centre appointments" put your dates/times/what was said down and put in plastic wallet and produce your job centre cv of endless appointments for them to read rather than them go on like a broken record.

Do they not grasp ra is for life?
I read with sadness peoples experiences to claim some money, and it seems like an endless groundhog day that doesn't seem to grasp "leave me along I'm not taking the mickey for a laugh".
Government just don't get it :(

Don't forget your lippy when you have your visit!

Dear Jenni,

I feel completely certain this is not aimed at you personally.

The Job Centre crew are just doing what the bonkers Government via ATOS

demands from them.

Imagine how crazy those employees at the Job Centre must feel at the end of every working

day?

Then they have to get up and do it all again to another bunch of ill people the next day!

It's a bad, bad situation and not good for any civilized society to be going through.

But remember that at the end of their assessments you may be awarded more benefits perhaps.

Because I've read your posts for a long time now and I realize that you truely deserve support

from the system.

Warmest wishes,

FionaSmile
